when the dawn of video games occured, mankind thought to itself:
''can i fit that in my pocket? when?''
thus, mobile gaming was born. similar to the ''recommendations to start your gambling addiction'' article i made, this will be a rapid fire of various mobile games. don't worry, two gachas will be in this if you're needy.
the millenium means SF3, and the millenium means flip phones. combine the two, and you get a tiny game about shooting with sean matsuda. don't expect to be finding this in kahvi! trust me, i checked.
before SF6 was even a twinkle in capcom's eye, you were able to make your own street fighter OC 19 years ago-though you're unable to make horrific entities so it's really not the same. what you do in this game is awnser some questions and choose a fighting style to make a character, then you move around a map to fight various world warriors [or people online] so you can learn techniques and get stronger. sounds nice! unfortunately it's probably hell to find.
do you play mahjong? do you also play mahjong and want to play it with chun-li or akuma? do you want to lose against dan for once? this is the game for you.
despite the interesting subtitle, no-it's not whatever gutter your brain is in. instead, it's punch out but with street fighter characters. there's also a interesting alternate version i found where it's the same but with different sprites and with the 'street fighter alpha' naming instead.
that game your older relative plays on their windows computer? you can do it with chun, ryu, sakura, or akuma at the cost of nothing.
y'know the rhythm heaven minigame with the karateka and the objects being thrown where you have to hit them to the beat? it's that but with ryu.
hunt this one down yourself, i got NOTHING [though i think it's a gacha]
now THIS is the more well-known one. it's a gacha that's still being run to this day and honestly literally nothing actually matters about this gacha game because it also happend to bring us this.
shown above: when this was put in the hand of chinese markets, did they have to go that hard???
super cute puzzle game, this time on the apple appstore. capcom really loves their puzzle games when it comes to this series, huh? unfortunately, i heard this was taken down later.
not to be confused with the super puzzle fighter game, this is a another street fighter puzzle game for phones. what sets it apart is the very ugly app icon and it being comically boring on record.

while i neglected to mention ports due to obvious reasons [this is a site about curios not the amount of times the series has been ported], i feel it's also worthy to mention a very specific java port of street fighter alpha [which alpha doesn't matter], street fighter alpha: rapid battle, where what makes it different from any other alpha port is that it doesn't have a character select or anything but moreso just instantly drops you into a CPU match as ryu. probably to fill the niche urge in everyone to start a fight with somebody...but it's still not as unique as one street fighter alpha port effectively having a character from a cut capcom fighting game in it.
