have you ever wished that street fighter taught things? did you come to this series to learn something worthwhile rather than learning what footsies are? capcom, with the help of the japanese government, has that covered just for you. in 1995, japan held a whole history-oriented exhibition themed around fujiwara, the once-capital of the nation, in nara. alot of stuff was shown, but then came a VHS by capcom that was screened there. this was 'return to the fujiwara capital'.
now, the actual catch with this particular curiousity is that it's been lost media for ages to the point of being a holy grail for street fighter fans, but capcom came in clutch to release it to DVD for the 15th anniversary of street fighter, and now you can actually watch it yourself. a short synopsis of this is that E. honda invites chun-li, ryu, and ken to watch his newest move-but they're suddenly swept into the past to see fujiwara as it was 1,300 years ago. this ends up seperating the bunch, and now they have to find each other while learning about the capital and japanese history.
